// We come to you with questions //
What is written, and being written, in the body? How do we claim bodies through language, in a world that diminishes and erases so many bodies? How can we resist and dismantle dominant narratives of embodiment? How, like the continuous process of making new blood, do we create meaning in a world of violence? What exists in the borderlands of body?
What is the relationship between bones and language? How do you interpret the geography/architecture of skeleton? What are the differences in function and form? What pleasures and/ or violences are located in bone, where, and how do you know? How do we endure systemic bone loss? Why do communities fracture? Can they remodel? If blood is made within bone, then what else is in there being created/destroyed?
These questions, this call, is from all of us to you:
We go in search of rich language. Welcome the shapes our bodies make when they are heaving, when they are leaving, when they are taking on new forms. Follow the call between language and neuron to the place our designs and desires are made visible. It can look like anything, sound like anything. You don't have to be good anymore.
Snarl in the mirror with your broken, sharpened teeth, built for tearing worlds apart and remaking them anew. A revelatory fragmentation of breath. Welcome nonlinearity.
